I've gotten my first set ever! I'm so stoked about it that i've even decided to work on a four track EP to commemorate the event. I've collaborated with a dope producer name Third World, his beats will be the veins of the project. With that said, i'll probably throw in sample snippets to add depth to my song concepts and whatnot. But its something I'm really enjoying writing so i would LOVE for my Houston folks to come out and here it.

I'm so proud of myself when it comes to this song and video. This track was based on actual events pertaining to relationship turmoil my friends and I have endured over the years. So the lyrics came to me pretty easy. Prior (like last summer) i wrote some bullshit to this beat lol. I was in the early ages of developing an writer's identity. I haven't arrived, but I'm getting there.

For the video I used A favorite movie of mines, Breakfast At Tiffany's. I loved the message the film gave and it paired well with the song..so eh, why not.

If you feel that your prosperity is in the after life and that the after life is 100x better than what we experience here on earth..then why are you here busting your ass to live lavish? I could go more into depth with it, but i'm too jaded to.

After spending little over A month looking for my project artwork this is what i settled with. Found this is one night and decided it was perfect. Well not perfect, but close though. I wanted to mimic Vampires Weekend's Contra album artwork. Ya know, have somewhat of a head shot of some cute random chick or maybe even myself. I strayed away from that idea until i found this picture last night. Fits the look of how i feel after working on this shit. Even though the project is only 6 tacks, a lot of self-conscious thoughts and feelings delayed it. I know it isn't my best work, but its quite far from where i came from and not yet where i want to be. LOL, see I'm talking about the music when the artwork is the topic, sorry.
